Description

1993 Porsche 964 Turbo 3.6 - One of the rarest and most fesirable 964s. Step into a world of exclusivity with this remarkable 1993 Porsche 964 Turbo 3.6 - a masterpiece of engineering and rarity. Only about 1,500 units were produced worldwide, far fewer than the 4,017 examples of the 964 Turbo 3.3 built from 1991 to 1992. This makes the model one of the most limited and sought-after Porsches since the legendary 959.

The Turbo 3.6 was only produced for the 1993 and 1994 model years and represents the pinnacle of the 964 generation. It is equipped with a 3.6-liter M64 engine paired with a KKK K27 turbocharger, delivering an impressive 360 hp at 5,500 rpm and 520 Nm at 4,200 rpm. The combination of raw power and advanced engineering provides an unparalleled driving experience.

The model also achieved icon status when a 1994 version appeared in the blockbuster film Bad Boys starring Will Smith. This stunning Guards Red (paint code 80K) car (VIN: WPOZZZ96ZPS470568) was completed on August 6, 1993, in Stuttgart and delivered to Porsche in Copenhagen. It has primarily been based in the Oslo area in Norway and today shows only 87,100 km - a low mileage that reflects careful use and maintenance.

Finished in the iconic Guards Red (80K) exterior colour, this Porsche 911 (964) Turbo 3.6 is powered by a turbocharged 3.6-litre air-cooled flat-six engine producing 360 horsepower and 520 Nm of torque. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a classic 5-speed manual gearbox, creating the raw and highly engaging driving experience that has made the 964 Turbo 3.6 one of the most respected air-cooled 911s ever built.

Capable of accelerating from 0–100 km/h in approximately 4.8 seconds and reaching a top speed of around 280 km/h, the Turbo 3.6 combined supercar-level performance with everyday usability during the early 1990s. The model’s wide-body design, distinctive rear wing, and aggressive stance remain defining characteristics of Porsche’s iconic turbocharged era.

This particular example has covered only 87,100 kilometres from new and remains a beautifully preserved representation of Porsche’s legendary rear-wheel-drive Turbo lineage.
